Y’all know I couldn’t resist sharing this recipe for the BEST grilled sirloin steak with cajun butter! I’m tellin’ y’all, this recipe is gonna make you feel like you’re at a five-star restaurant right in your own backyard. And don’t worry, I’m gonna share all my tips and tricks with you to make sure your steak is perfection!
Grilled Sirloin Steak with Cajun Butter
Ingredients:
- 4 sirloin steaks (about 1 inch thick)
- 1/2 cup salted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions:
- Remove steaks from fridge and let sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, and cayenne pepper until well combined. Set aside.
- Preheat grill to high heat.
- Pat steaks dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place steaks on grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
- Remove steaks from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Top each steak with a generous dollop of the cajun butter and serve immediately.

Grilled Petite Sirloin Steak Recipe

- 4 petite sirloin steaks (about 1 inch thick)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
- Combine olive oil, soy sauce, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, honey, thyme, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Mix well.
- Pat steaks dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Brush both sides of steaks with the marinade and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill to high heat.
- Place steaks on grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
- Remove steaks from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
