I’m so excited to share with you that J-Hope and Becky G’s newest song, “Chicken Noodle Soup” has finally dropped! And, as an added bonus, they’ve put out an MV to go along with it. The song is a remake of the original “Chicken Noodle Soup” by Webstar and Young B, which first came out in 2006.

The MV has already hit over 25 million views on YouTube since it was released just a few days ago. It’s a dance-heavy video that takes place in various locations in New York City. J-Hope and Becky G show off their amazing dance skills and pay homage to the original song that inspired them.

Now, onto the best part of “Chicken Noodle Soup” – the recipe! This recipe is super easy to make and perfect for any chilly day.
Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups diced cooked chicken
- 1 cup uncooked egg noodles
- 1 cup chopped carrot
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the onions and celery, and cook until the onions are translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the chicken broth, bay leaf, thyme, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Add the chicken, noodles, and carrot to the pot. Bring to a boil again and then reduce the heat to a simmer. Cook for 10-15 minutes until the noodles are cooked and the carrots are tender. Serve hot and enjoy!
