For all you foodies out there, I found an amazing banana recipe that you can make while watching Banana Fish. It’s called Banana Cream Pie – delicious and easy to make. Here’s what you’ll need:

Ingredients:

1 9-inch pie crust, baked
3 medium bananas
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 tsp salt
3 large egg yolks
2 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Whisk well.
Turn heat to medium and cook, whisking constantly, until mixture thickens and comes to a simmer, about 7-10 minutes.
In a medium bowl, whisk together egg yolks with a splash of the hot cream mixture, then whisk the yolk mixture back into the saucepan with the rest of the filling.
Turn heat to low and whisk until mixture becomes very thick and glossy, about 2-3 more minutes.
Remove the pan from heat and whisk in butter and vanilla until well combined and the mixture is smooth.
Slice the bananas and place them in the cooled crust. Pour the filling over the bananas and chill for 2-3 hours until firm.
